To Make Her Mine…

As each day passes
Often slow
I miss my Love…
But does she know

That the time
We were away
I missed her with
Each passing day

We...were one
In heart and soul
Together always
Our lives…were whole

To walk a path
That bought us near
To the things we loved
And held so dear

Why we were
Just meant to be
In love for life
Just you and me

She was my life
To this…it’s true
I loved this woman
I wish she knew

We were a couple
In time she’d see
To love her so
Down on my knee

I’d make her mine
In all I do
Our love was one
But this…she knew
